Terms of use

Last updated on 5 November 2026

These terms apply to everyone who uses Testpio, the online test platform made and operated by Jay Prakash, an independent software developer in India ("Testpio", "we", "us"). By using Testpio you agree to them. If you use Testpio on behalf of a coaching institute, you confirm that you may bind the institute to these terms.

The service

Testpio lets coaching institutes create online tests, and lets their students take those tests on their own devices and see results, ranks, solutions and progress. Testpio is an online service: nothing is shipped.

Institutes and fees

Institutes use Testpio under a subscription agreed with us in writing: the plan, the number of active students it allows, the price and the period. A trial may be offered free of charge. Fees are paid in advance. Our Refund and cancellation policy explains cancellations and refunds. Students do not pay Testpio.

Accounts

  • Institutes create accounts for their staff and students and decide who has access.
  • Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
  • If you think someone else has used your account, tell your institute at once. Institute admins should also tell us.
  • A student under 18 may be given an account only with the consent of a parent or lawful guardian, which the institute must obtain.

Institute content

Institutes own the questions, images, explanations and other content they add. By adding content, an institute confirms it has the right to use it, including material taken from books, PDFs or websites, and allows us to store it and show it to the institute's own users so that we can provide the service. We do not use institute content for any other purpose.

Each institute sets its own questions, answer keys, marks and result release. Scores, ranks and percentiles are calculated from the answer key the institute provides. We are not responsible for mistakes in questions or answer keys. An institute can correct an answer key at any time, which rescores the test.

Fair use

You must not:

  • try to see answer keys, questions before a test, or other people's data,
  • get around the test timer, the one-device rule or other test rules,
  • use someone else's account, or share questions while a test is live,
  • disrupt the service, probe it for weaknesses without our written permission, or access it with automated tools,
  • upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to share.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules. Institutes may also apply their own rules to their students. Suspected misuse, including copyright complaints, can be reported to support@testpio.in.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Testpio available and every answer safe, but we cannot promise that the service will always be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change and improve features over time.

Our rights

Testpio, its software, design and name belong to us. You may not copy, resell or build a competing service from it. Suggestions you send us may be used without obligation.

Privacy

Our Privacy policy explains how personal data is handled. Institutes are responsible for using their students' data lawfully, including obtaining the consents the law requires.

Ending use

An institute may stop using Testpio as set out in its subscription. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated breaches of these terms. If we stop providing Testpio, we give institutes at least 30 days' notice and refund the unused part of any period paid for.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Testpio is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees the institute paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost business, or for decisions made on the basis of test results. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. Please write to us first: most issues can be settled by email.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Using Testpio after a change means you accept the updated terms.
